Holiday Matcha Cookies

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together flour, 3 teaspoons matcha powder, baking soda and baking powder.
  3. In a medium bowl, beat together butter and ¾ cup sweetener until smooth and creamy (about 1 minute). Add egg and vanilla, beating again.
  4. Add in flour mixture in two batches, beating after each addition. Stir in the white chocolate chips. Scoop dough into balls, about 1 ½ tablespoon size.
  5. In a small bowl, stir together 1 ½ tablespoons of sweetener with ¼ teaspoon matcha powder. Roll the top of each cookie dough ball into the matcha-sweetener mixture to create a sparkly top.
  6. Place cookie dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, pressing each down in the middle to form a good shape. Place each cookie dough ball 3 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 8-11 minutes. Remove, let cookies cool and enjoy!
